Some valid points in this. My biggest point is Trump is a bad winner. He needs to stop gloating when he wins. That will help issues die. The whole Stormy Daniels horseface thing is a prime example.

And I agree with the article Trump can't count on the socialists to run a despised candidate like last time. I have no idea who'll end up at the top by 2020, but it won't be Hilary. Harris and Booker won't have support from the moderates and wussy Republicans because they're both freaking wachos. Harris looks and acts like Cruella Deville and Booker's Spartacus moment won't go away. It will be 2024 before those things are far enough removed. Pocahontas? maybe. Crazy Uncle Joe Biden? maybe. Professor Bernie? no, too much of a freak. Michelle my Belle? Not a chance.

Who's flying below the radar? Who'll jump to the top in the 6 months? If they some one good comes up and Trump doesn't change his ways, despite the fact everything is going great right now and even if it still is, he's in trouble. There could be a perception Trump did what he came to do, save the nation and now that that's done, a 'moderate' Democrat could steal the show.

Probably going to be O’Rourke, Sanders or Biden on the democratic ticket. Maybe Warren if she can gage how the whole "pocahontas" thing will affect her. She can easily defend herself from it, but it can take time away form the real meat of her platform.

As far as the article - there's no new news here. I've been saying since day one that all he has to do is shut up and he'd be fine. (he's currently polling around 38%)

But he can't do that. He's got his Twitter account and he'll use it to basically destroy his own legacy. He's well on his way now.

Oh, and let's not forget the massive number of lies he's told since being in office and the amount of golf he's played.

People aren't dumb. At least not as dumb as he might think they are.

I'd say he's got little to no chance of reelection in 2020 - if he makes it that far.

Beto as a potential VP I can see. Warren's finished. Sanders will just be an older, more out of touch loon in two years. Plus, all you have to do is look at France or Germany and see our future under The Bern. No thanks.

I'm not really worried about Trump losing yet. Lefties have been wrong every single step in Trump's rise to the top. Trump changed enough during the last campaigns to overcome stumbles along the way and that was no accident. And despite unprecedented non-stop negative coverage he still bucked the midterm odds and did far, far better than recent Presidents.

And since I don't believe Trump did anything seriously wrong, this whole Mueller debacle could backfire on the Dems. Nadler is an obnoxious, over the top, TDS infected nut so if he won't shutup about Trump after Mueller's report fizzles, it will hurt whomever is running. Trump will keep that big fat mouth of Nadlers yacking as long as he can, that will be to his benefit.

But, all in all, this is like predicting who'll play in the 2019 World Series. A million things are going to happen between now and then, almost all of which are unknown.

First off mn - I've have never, nor will ever say that pure socialism will work anywhere. What we have in this country today is democratic socialism - on a light scale.

Police, firemen, public schools, public transportation, public libraries, the V.A., public parks, medicare, social security - and several others are socialist programs. (gasp!)

What my fellow democratic socialists are looking to do is expand some of these programs - Medicare for all being one.

However, unlike pure socialism, no one is promoting having the government run businesses. Your buddies at fox "news" get their paties in a bunch to scare the trump masses. It just isn't true.

You see mn, we currently live in a hybrid society, along with every other society in the world to their own varying degrees.

So get off the whole "socialism will destroy our country".

It won't. It hasn't. It never will.
