The last discussion I had with Deb about the Ozarks.....was she wanted to do it in the fall - like September or October.

She wants to take a ride to Franklin, TN (near Nashville).....evidently there was a huge Civil War battle there and she wants to go see the area.  She was reading a book and it talked about the battle....evidently it was one of the biggest battles of the war.

Anybody up for a "no notice" trip to Robbinsville the next couple of days?

Riding could occur on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday.....or any combination.
(I need to be home early on Saturday).

I got over $500.00 worth of grass seed I have to water every day for the next couple weeks.    
Bermuda Hybrid that get up to 30" tall .    Sounds like the perfect HAY FIELD .   $530.00 for a 50# bag of seed , but they are so tinny there must have been 10 billion of them in the 50# bag.  Once I get them little seedlings  up and going they take care of themselves and are REALLY HARDY to the point of being illegal to import into some states.   So they put out runners under-ground , on top of the ground , and put out seeds .   Also their roots run really deep and are drought hardy.

But , I've got to "Baby" my investment till it get established .    I can deliver 100 gallons between sundown and dark easily but I've got to be here to do it.      

I hate it that I'm sort-of "Grounded" for a couple weeks of summer but this is prime time to plant this stuff .

Ha Dave ,  If nobody else (can/wants-to/is able to ) go to Robinsville then why not make your ride to Lynchburg --- we can "DAY-RIDE" all day and eat ribs and baked taters every night ?  
There is a new Indian Motorcycle shop in Lynchburg you ain't see yet , next door to the Harley shop .   (not much to see either)
but
I know lot of neat rides , you ain't never been on either !

Not me...I am neck deep in the middle of a kitchen tear-out and remodel and have a rental house to turnover in the next 5 days on top of that...so the bikes are just collecting sawdust and sheetrock dust in the garage for the next 3-4 weeks.  

OMG dave, I thought cutting a pile of wood was fun when I was a teenager.
Now I look at a pile of weeds and break a sweat.
