Things are looking pretty gruesome for this weekend.

It seems a low pressure is headed across the area, and things are going to be pretty cold over the weekend. The overnight temperatures are going to be 22 on Friday and 20 on Saturday.....the highs will only be at 40/41.

There are no 60 temperatures left anywhere in the monthly forecast - it seems that any warms days in November are going to be a "fluke" .

It may well be the riding season is over. Sad

I looked at the weather that just past on the planned dates.....it was not so horrible as the prediction - but it still wasn't ideal.

We would have been warmer than last year - still the morning rides would have been a bit cold and the afternoon warmth most likely only lasted 4-5 hours.
Thursday was 33 in the morning and it warmed up to 57.
Friday was 39 in the morning and it warmed up to 55.
Saturday was 28 in the morning and it warmed up to 55.
Sunday was 24 in the morning and it warmed up to 65!

The weather over the weekend was very similar here, and it was in the 20's in the morning and Friday/Saturday I worked in the garage in the morning and then in the afternoon I cut firewood and burned brush piles. Yesterday morning we were in the 40's and it quickly got up into the 60's by afternoon - I washed a bike and went for a ride to dry it out.....it is very likely that it was the "farewell riding event" for this year. We are supposed to get snow this evening and temperatures will be down to 14 by Tuesday night. I believe it is still just a bit too warm for the snow to stick - but if the road departments get overly zealous and spray "brine" or spread salt on the roads......there will be no more riding until the spring rains in March/April wash the salt away.

We could trailer to go see Bad Wolf ? Yea , Sandy beaches instead of Salty Roads ! Grin

Marcia and I got a ride before the cold/wet front got here today 50+ miles.

I had some bad news : Technically this is a 2019 event , being a event that happened this year.

So at the gas station(about a week ago) , I started the engine on the V-9 ... well it hit about 5 licks and died ! ???
After about 3 minutes it clicked under the fuel tank somewhere and I was able to start it again.
But
The Check Engine light has been on ever since .
Now for the good news :
I have found out I have a bumper to bumper fix anything guarantee till January 2021 .

So , I'm taking it to my local dealer Wednesday and Guzzi is getting the bill ! Grin

After 2021 ??? , The guys on the Guzzi site tell me its not that hard to hook the computer up to the bike and do all sorts of things ...

Anybody recognize this plug ?
