Um, We Should Be Terrified...

Of this:

http://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-changes-course-says-intel-chiefs-agreement-06...

trump now says he and intel chiefs in agreement

What???  Seriously?  This sorry excuse of a president is now ramping up his lies.  Just right out in the open, with zero cares...

How can anyone, let alone the president of the United States not know that both transcripts of everything he says AND video exist of him saying the exact opposite??

I'll say it once again, how any rational person can see this man as anything but a total sham is beyond the limits of reason.

Please, someone explain to all of us how he can go on record saying one thing one day, and then completely lie about it the next?  Not a stretch, not a misunderstanding - but a blatant, outright lie.

(like I said, this is why the conservatives on here have all but stopped posting - there is no defense to this.)

"How can anyone, let alone the president of the United States not know that both transcripts of everything he says AND video exist of him saying the exact opposite??"

He knows, but he doesn't care because there is no consequence of any substance directed towards him.

The real question is why do we care?

At this point I just dismiss pretty much everything he initially says about anything at all, give it a month then average out the general attitude and it gives me a very uneducated guess about where he stands.

Even at that it rarely matters as most of the major issues aren't even in his direct control.  Like Syria, out in 30 days, why would anyone even consider this to be reasonable, or even possible?

Same here Eegore.  But looking at that type of mindset - is that really how we should think of the president of the United States?  To me, that's scary.  Never in my life - and I can pretty much say in modern history - has there been such a man as this at the helm of our Country.  It simply boggles the mind...

Again, agreed Eegor.  There is always the pablum that supporters gobble down without question - on both sides.

But this is going a step farther.  This is getting to be literally unbelievable.

Looking at his supporters is as scary as it is funny.  He can just lie right to their faces and they don't care.  He simply can do no wrong.

These aren't political lies like "you can keep your doctor" - these are just bald-face lies.

More fun reading:

WASHINGTON – When Dan Coats was tapped by President Donald Trump to be his intelligence director, some of the Indiana Republican's former Senate colleagues wondered if he was too nice for the job.

“I’m not sure likeability and affability are the qualities I want in this position,” Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, told Coats at his confirmation hearing. "You’re going to be reporting to a president who may or may not want to hear what you have to say.”

That turned out to be an understatement.

"They are wrong!" Trump tweeted Wednesday, after Coats and other leaders of the intelligence services backed differing views of the president's on Iran and North Korea when testifying before Congress this week.

Trump backtracked Thursday, accusing the news media of incorrectly describing the testimony, after initially telling reporters that time will prove him right and his intelligence leaders wrong.

That's become a familiar pattern.
