Got a early start yesterday on open day crab season.....
First time in
YEARS because of work, etc...
Two pulls, and we were done

Tossed back lots of keepers just to cull the 10 Dungeness crab we kept.
We also kept 6 BIG red rock crab, we were allowed more, but we tossed them back, as these just don't eat as well as dungies.....
They do a crab dip very well, etc, as they have a different texture, dungies don't need to be used with anything else other than dipped in warm butter

I use a turkey cooker out on the deck to steam them.....

Think I will go back out Sunday afternoon, after ALL the TOURIST leave, waiting in the ferry line for 2-3 hours to go home
