BTW.....this hosting site has been in business for decades, I use to use it when I was living in SoCal, knew the original owner, he was a member of the fishing message board I use to belong too....
You might want to try it?

Image hosting sites have a history of closing down or holding your images hostage, yet you guys keep switching to different hosting sites and hoping that the new one will not do the same thing.
The definition of insanity is repeating the same experiment over and over, and expecting different results each time. Think about that, then think about what you are doing by switching to yet another hosting site.

You should of backed up your precious pictures onto a thumb drive too, if they are that important, anyway.
I still have the photos - they just aren't on the forum anymore and getting them back in the correct places would take a very long time. I am not sure I have the ambition to do it - I likely will do some of the Technical topics first.....and some deleting and fixing of my Bike Build to make it a lot less than the current 21 pages!

Same here...
I was enthusiastic back when I made the original posts...
Now,.. it would just be painstaking work and tedium to redo.
I have fixed just a few Tech posts that get a lot of views.
PS.. I notice a lot of people here have perfect 20/20 hindsight.
Congratulations guys...

So , I post one picture at a time from the "Choose File" option below the text box.
And
Wonder how you folks get more than one picture per post ? Is that what is going away ?

Yup... and all the pics we had loaded there.
Photobucket is now blurring them out.
You get a blurred image with their ransom note pasted over it.

I am not a "server" IT guy, but know enough to ask this question. Why can't we buy server space somewhere and host our own pictures? Does this board have an option where we can purchase extra space and allow for multiple images per post, or at minimum allow us to post multiple images the same way we do now just using our own server and image widget to upload and create the links?
I'd throw in $50 to contribute to a solution if someone out there can tell us what said solution is and that it would work for us.
Who's the smart IT guy/gal in the room here?

This site hosts any picture that you upload as an attachment. Once "attached" to a post, it can then be used in the image tag like any other hosted image. Conceivably, you could attach all of your pictures in one thread and then reference them in your posts.

Now I can use "
http://suzukisavage.com/yabb2.2/Attachments/van_001.jpg
" in the image tag...I could even use that link on other sites if I wanted to.
And I can insert other "forum hosted" images in the same post...

So...we need the mods to create a "photos" thread somewhere where we can just dump images post after post and use those to link to our instructional threads where we need multiple photos inline.
Makes sense to me.
Moderators????

Personally, I don't think it makes sense to create a thread for pictures just so you can post multiple picts per post.
Buy space or post one at a time.
I have bought space from Palladin when he was a regular here.

I agree. I just attach the pic with a post. But I will use them as images other posts because a) it's easy and b) I see no reason to upload the same picture multiple times. That's just a waste of server space.
