Guard broke yesterday. Still using today and after a cut I reached to grab a board before the blade stopped. Where the guard broke off, my glove caught the blade and it pulled my hand in. So far I can move all fingers but will see hand specialist tomorrow to assess in detail all movement and nerves.

Hand is healed up pretty well now where I can push and pull wrenches despite some persistent swelling.

Got mine done today (after 11 years of ordering and holding the modified spacer and not returning the core Shocked

).

One comment I wanted to make is that I am at ease with my Chinese bearing (ordered twice from fleabay....received NOT what was advertised twice). Now that I pull the tire (I have done it many times before) I am reminded that the inner bearings in the wheel aren't what I was replacing, simply the bearing that carries the pulley. So...if the Chinese pulley bearing starts to act up my rear wheel isn't going to kick sideways and sling me into a ravine.

Thanks Armen. Core will be in the mail Monday if they are open.

I am still working at the office as normal so I have t get out every day anyhow. Yes, it is such a quick and easy swap and I can see how it will help stabilize the pulley better. Thanks again!
