Wanted: Harley Dyna with baffles (Read 101 times)

BrooklynSavage YaBB Newbies Offline SuzukiSavage.com Rocks! Posts: 8	Wanted: Harley Dyna with baffles 09/06/19 at 17:53:47 looking to buy a Dyna muffler in good condition with the baffles intact. I have a set of two dyna mufflers that are straight pipes without baffles for sale or trade. The straight dyna is just too freaking loud.

It should be possible to put baffles back in
Many years ago I owned a Bsa Gold flash and some workmates
[ I never found out who exactly ] bashed the baffles out as some kind of joke. The noise was too bad for me so I managed to make and push some baffles back in from the rear if I remember correctly
I also tried stuffing them with bronze lathe turnings as an experiment
but again I dont remember how successful that was.
This was in my mid teens Wish I still had that bike now

And to be clear the baffles are still inside and not knocked out? I’ve bought one and it ended up being a hollowed out straight pipe and I want to avoid that again.
