JOG, it's like this...

Say you're 18 years old and go to the beach at spring break for the first time. Your hormones are in overdrive and there are thousands of girls your age (LEGAL AGE) walking around in skimpy bathing suits and you are just drooling all over the place for hours on end all day long...You want to try to take pictures to remember what you saw but you are so immersed in staring at the hot barely-clothed girls that you forget you have a camera, heck, you are so overwhelmed you nearly forget your name or where you are even at...then at the end of the day the sun goes down and you start to awaken from the fog and realize it is 8 hours later.

That's kinda how it is, but we are all old men now and the girls are bikes...but we still get equally confused and disoriented.  Cool

Yeah, but it is a little crooked.

Did you source out a replacement bike situation yet?

Yeah, all covered,, the question is, will I heal enough to be strong enough to ride safely. Both shoulders are damaged, but the right one is a painful mess. I'm still not even driving, because I can't turn a steering wheel as quickly as makes make comfortable.

For next years Barber event, I am scheming to do some things different.  It was very hot and drinks were horribly expensive......20oz soft drink bottles were $5, water bottles were $4, you could get a large tea in a plastic cup for $12 that had free refills all day.  Food was also really expensive with pizza slices $9- $11 each, foot long corn dog with fries $13, etc.  It was basically street fair food at fancy restaurant prices - I got 2 pieces of pizza, 1 Dr. Pepper and 1 lemonade over the 11 hours I was there on Saturday and spent $39!  It was so hot I was lusting for a $1.79 Slushy from the gas station!  For next year I am going to take a collapsible cooler and fill it up with ice from the hotel, drinks and sandwiches from the store.  (You can tell that I don't go to ball games and buy any food or drink at elevated prices).

It is a fun event, the museum is incredible and would take an entire day to see everything.......maybe next year I will go a day early or stay an extra day to see the museum.  I only spent a couple hours in the museum as I wanted to get outside for the fun.

Next year I am going to hook a trailer to my little TTR110 and pull a giant cooler of ice water around that is totally free. Sure to really make the vendors mad  Wink

The MRI report says
Torn through..

But, I'm pushing through pain, reaching for more range of motion, because I really don't want that surgery.
Thanks for the concern,
T
