It will be much cheaper to buy a new one than to get it recalibrated.
To check it, put the square drive in a vise, orient the handle in a horizontal position, set the value to a convenient number, hang a bucket on the handle on the mark, add sand till it clicks, weight the sand, multiply by the distance, apply fudge or get a new one.

Reply #5 - 10/23/19 at 15:11:07 I have one of the old beam type ,not as accurate , but more rugged. the click type can't stand ruff handling , a fall or dropping on a hard surface may cause then to need recalibration .
