Those parts are pricey. The ‘87 motor I have didn’t come with either of the idle gears so I haven’t actually seen how this system mounts in the motor. I’m going to order the idle gear off of the link you sent me and look at how and if I should proceed.

I believe I have a spare Idle gear and a starter 1way clutch and gear.
