Fast dog, just before the sh!t hit the fan, the dog is on the right.  2 frames later he's skidding on the sidewalk.

Carefully watch the dog during the explosion, you can see him move during the flying dirt portion.   He goes behind the wooden block before the dirt even hits the ground ---- he is just a quick little puppy.

The thing on the concrete past the homeowner is a chunk of sod, spinning and sliding along.
