"Yes,... I am"
How do you escape technology?
Yes, it is eerie, unnerving, I still wouldn't want to travel to the moon, as my distrust in such technological advances hasn't evolved, and that allows doubt/fear, to be the biggest deciding factor in how I see/view things.......
Ya know the commercial aircraft I worked on, they are working on the technology where it can be flown without a pilot, from a remote location.
I have been in that "command center" in Everette, where every 787 is actively monitored, showing exactly what it is doing....no "black box" needed, thank you
When, who knows, the biggest arguments against this, is unforeseen circumstances, where AI can't factor it into a "formula" and take corrective actions, like when Sully hit the birds, etc.....
But think about this, they already have sensing devices in cars that can apply brakes, when a obstacle presents itself.....
I use to plumb in DI water, to data processing centers, to keep the equipment cool, heat still is the biggest hurdle to advancing more powerful chips....
Now, your phone is more powerful than those very expensive units that changed the world.....
Not sure you can ever stop this genie.......she is out
