Well I confess to some messed up thinking of my own. I know I ought to be ashamed but I just can't help it.

I'm waiting for the first case to be diagnosed in DC.

I can't wait to see the video of all the congresscritters wearin' N95 masks trampling one another running down the capital steps on their way out of town.

Here’s what any authoritative figure can’t say but know. 3rd world nations are most strongly impacted by viruses like this because they are most commonly spread through poor hygiene. Viruses are submicron in size, in fact much smaller than that, in the.001 micron range. Direct airborne exchange is rare.  Viruses are spewed into the air when an infected person sneezes or coughs. If it were otherwise, we’d all be dead by now. Viruses are transported by carrier particles, mucus droplets that land somewhere. The viruses survive long enough in that until you touch it and then wipe you eyes, pick your nose or any of the dozens of things we do everyday that introduce organisms into our bodies.

3rd world countries and certain cultures are by nature more susceptible. I was in a hotel in Boston last week and a bus load of kids unloaded, looked like high schoolers. They all formed lines at the two or three hand sanitizers dispensers this high end hotel put in the lobby.

Iran is being hit hard right now cause it’s a $hithole. North Korea is probably in the same boat but how would we know.

Bottom line, practice good, common sense hygiene and if for some reason you’re planning on visiting China, cancel.

I think its the cell phones, etc......

Folks have them clutched way too long in their hands everyday, even eating and digesting food after touching their Chinese made phones.
Breathing in all that is embedded in it, for hours.

Yea, where are most of the cell phones made ?
How many people that use a pen, put it in their mouth at one time ?
Where are, masks, hand sanitiser, etc, etc, etc, etc, made ?

Intentional or not, tin foil hat or not, weak immune system/underlying health issues are most probably the fundamental reason it could spread.

That had ZERO chance of transmitting any virus. Zero.

Many or even most of these countries have a national health system,... we don't.
What will 25 million uninsured/underinsured people do when faced with a two week hospital stay?
They won't go.
They will do their best to self medicate while spreading the virus among the population.
Uninsured kids working the fryer at MickyD's will tough it out.  The virus seems to be milder for young people.

...and I don't want to see millions die.
You stoop to Trump's level with that accusation.
Minimizing the problem won't make it go away.
This flu is not Trump's fault...
How he responds is.
A program for free treatment would help greatly.
We don't want people avoiding treatment because of cost.

Oh wow, that is beyond any reasonable person's lie.

Canada, Europe have a national health system, one that is woefully inadequate if any epidemic hits, as in, you'd be 6 moths down the line for an appointment. They make people wait insane amounts of time for simple stuff in normal times. US could be just as bad if an epidemic hits and you'd get a big bill, however, you wont be able to even see the doctor if it really is the real deal. So you don't have to worry about the bill, in both cases like this, you'd be dead if you got the corona and not without corona.
Now china, Korea, brazil, wherever other places have no real medical infrastructure free or otherwise. In fact china does not let kids go to school unless it is in your "home" district. I'm sure they don't let you go to hospital when you're not "home" either. And seriously brazil and Africa where its popped up don't even have test capabilities national health system or otherwise. India does not have a national health system either, and you'd find 1000's waiting at every doctors office and they likely don't have much medication for true corona either.

So this is why the Libtards are milking Corona Virus, to bring up support for govt medicare for all likely to pump up Bernie ? Now I get it. Definite hoax.

Cool.

https://www.yahoo.com/money/coronavirus-sick-leave-health-insurance-162016804...

Already, Americans hold out on visiting the doctor when they’re sick or need care.

A quarter of Americans skipped a medical treatment due to costs, according to a 2019 survey by Westhealt and Gallup. Additionally, 15 million Americans have deferred purchasing prescription drugs in the past year because of cost.

Recent reports suggest that the bill to get tested for coronavirus could cost more than $3,000, a huge cash outlay for many. Two in 5 Americans couldn’t cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money or selling items for cash, according to the Federal Reserve.

Today, South Korea offers world-class healthcare to both its own citizens and visitors alike.

The South Korean healthcare system is run by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and is free to all citizens at the point of delivery. The system is funded by a compulsory National Health Insurance Scheme that covers 97% of the population. Foreign nationals living in South Korea enjoy the same access to universal healthcare as the local people.

Oh I see you singled out 1 word in what I said, so - Korea does not = south Korea, I meant North Korea. But who the duck cares about that clown. One more slave ship.

And the limiting factor when some type of epidemic strikes will not be the amount of $$$ you have in your pocket. This is why I said, you will not have to worry if it is real, you'd be dead, and you don't have to worry if its a false alarm you will be fine before the appointment. You will not get one for 3-6 months in the US and you'd not get one for 1yr in countries with "free medicare for all". It will be free, but you'd be dead 11 months before your appointment.

Cool.

Me thinks Bot is exampling how broken our system is here, in the states....
Regardless of the fact folk who have healthcare in their home country, come here....
And we don't even need to look at how many come here illegally, and are provided care, with child birth just being one example.

He is showing us, and doing a great job, at how a segment of our health care system is in need of much improving......

You can see the effects of it, in his posting and reasoning, that many, many folks have reduced mental capacities to being just outright crazy and insane, and can not get help, etc....

OH, BTW....can you imagine this virus setting up in the homeless population....or sanctuary cities....two of the libs special hands off, arenas.....

I'm calling total BS on this.
South Korea is in the news daily with reports of testing and infected.
North Korea is nowhere.
If you were referring to North Korea, you have made no point at all.
We have no info on North Korea and any we get will be propaganda not facts.

You have just one Liberal voice to argue with, and still have to resort to veiled insults and made up facts.
Pitiful...
This is why the Left,... left the TT.
Congratulations,.. you've conquered the TT with stupidity, false facts, and insults.
