I think Lancer's offer to put a kit together for use is a good one, Ryca 's set was a poor one , they used two even numbered sprockets which promotes more rapid wear, one sprocket should always have an odd number of teeth so that the chain changes position on every rotation, giving longer and even wear to both the chain and sprockets (something they should have known) as a good all around ratio I would recommend 17/45 or 16/45 depending on if you have room for 520 or 530 chain. . Either should increase your mpg by 2.5 to 3 , and not be noticeably slow your acceleration or top speed. Each of these ratios are about 5% lower than stock and running at the posted speed limit should not get you a ticket ie ; 55is really/ 58, 65/68.5 , 70/73.5 etc. None of these should ever garner you a speeding ticket . Your ratio of 17 /43 changes the speed o 65 on the stock speedo to an actual speed of 71.8 mph , fairly close to attention law enforcement might notice. It will also affect your acceleration and top speed ,both will be slower.
