Well in my house the wife is now working at home, she is an executive at a major telecom company. I do all the food shopping and prep. She now has no cafeteria/lunch room for lunch everyday so she is dependant on me to now make her lunch. I am now cooking 2 meals a day, lunch and dinner, for our household. Because she expects I will join her for lunch as she is at home, I can't leave for work until after the midday meal.

I am able to go to work everyday, self employed, but I can't leave until her luch is served. At this point I have been cooking 2 meals a day for 40 days and then going to work. It's hard to get things done at the shop but I try. Between work I did manage to get new mirrors on the '03' the other day.

This can't end soon enough, but we are all in it together. Stay strong and don't forget, it's not about us individually but how we affect those we interact with.

I spent 6 weeks at home. Got a lot of crap done at home but it seems like the more you do the more you find other stuff to do. I was freaking going nuts. So this is my first week back at work. Co worker was killed while I was gone. He fell 120 feet off the ship hit the dock and then fell into the bay. Totally missed services. Bad year way too much death. But back at work bitchin how much I hate this company. Maybe we can return to something that resembles normal. I'm trying my hardest to keep myself and wife healthy long enough to retire. That's all we can do !

Some carry up to 18,000 containers. He was 5 high above deck,that's 5 container high above main deck. We had a ship here just feet below 1/4 mile long.

He was a good guy and super polite, comes from a good upbringing. Waterfront is hella dangerous, I guess 7 people have died in the 9 years I've been working here not to mention all close calls and crippled. They almost got me , I was hit by a SUV , scary place to work.
