I have had vice grips and pliers pinch my skin into red blood blisters plenty of times. I have also hit myself in the forehead with vice grips and almost knocked myself out while pulling on a stubborn exhaust nut with both hands and all my strength.....who would have thought the muffler clamp would have broken under the force!
I have lost flesh and meat using wire wheels!
I have thrown shiny parts onto the floor and across the room when the buffing wheel caught an edge.
I have burnt myself repeatedly while picking up freshly welded parts. (Slow Learner).
I have stabbed and cut myself with boxcutters.
I don't know how many times I have been under a car and bumped my face on something - which causes me to jerk back and hit my head on the floor....which causes me to pull forward and hit my face on the bottom of the car....which causes me to jerk back and hit my head on the floor (repeat oscillation several times).
I have also had to work on cars/trucks in gravel driveways, and I end up with a back that looks like I have pink and purple Leopard spots!
Some day I will be smart, but Not Today!
There, fixed it for ya!
Ohh,, and you are Completely alone in all those wacky moments with tools..
Well, there was that time when I was gonna straighten a piece of the vent on the cowl of a pickup in the body shop.I saw it and decided to fix it,, wasnt on the work order,, and I slipped my dent pullin hook under it and gave a lift,, Nothin,, stiff sucker,, so I put my elbows up on the fender and got a double fistfull of the piece of pipe handle and commenced doing my best Curl I could manage,, when the blasted thing slipped out and I Smacked myself between the eyes with the end of the handle,, and was knocked backwards across the next bay,,
