We planned our route along the fun roadside attractions and most of them were the "big" things. A friend suggested we go by Casey IL, which has a lot of the "largest" things. ....and the funnest was the World's Largest Ball of Paint in Alexandria, IN. You get to schedule an appointment (or drop in), paint a layer, sign the log book for Guinness documentation, and you get a signed certificate from the owners. Super cool people and this is all in a little garage adjacent to their house in rural IN in the middle of corn/soybean fields.
