Hi There,
Yesterday I took my recently bought savage. $150,-

for a 100 mile ride.

It drives great and has lots or torque.

Now I want to check the tensioner before I make even more miles. And clean the coupling plates and then put in new oil.

Because what I noticed is that the clutch slips a bit in 3rd gear.
I think it is because of the oil because the previous owner was not very technical, and everything he changed, I had to check and repair.
But It can also be, becourse it has more horse power than original:

But now, I read somewhere about the yoda cluch method and that you can put an extra fiberplate and metal plate in it.

But I don't read anywhere on the forum that anyone has done that.
So here my question: Has some one done it? And does it work? (much better?)
