What seems like end times here in CA , Covid , unemployment , fires , etc.
Thousands of homes gone , thick choking smoke , raining ash , countless evacuated , power shut offs. Prayers for the evacuated to have a home to come back to. Many still missing , not sure how many are dead. Pray for rain and please donate to American Red Cross. This state needs all the help it can right now. I've never seen it like this before , it real bad !

Now it's just overpriced and overtaxed. Moving out o state when I retire , somewhere cheaper. Someplace quiet , where people are friendly , oh yeah and lots of twisty roads.

But, most anywhere in the south is that way. Heck, you could get a place on the Gulf Coast beaches. THEy are dirt cheap compared to the W & NE coasts...and Florida.

Posts: 9086	Re: California is burning Reply #10 - 09/10/20 at 12:21:11 I find it interesting that there is enough smoke layer to create a continuous sunset atmosphere where only the red, red/orange wavelengths can be seen. I don't know what the ratio is to have enough atmosphere for reds, but it's enough in lot of places now.
