I have a new piston made by Wiseco and designed specifically for the LS650 engine. Based upon data developed by Dragbikemike, I had Wiseco design this piston in the stock 94mm size, close to the same weight as a stock piston, and with a “flat top with dish” to gain a true 10.5:1 compression ratio.

The initial order was small and only 2 are available at this time. More can be ordered if there is interest but a 4-6 week order-to-receipt is to be expected. Price remains the same as before, $199 shp. incl. for US

Stock............477g
Old Wiseco.....475g
New Wiseco....491

They are a custom made so I have to order at least 4/order. So if you are going to want one in the next 4-6 months let me know now so I can get them in one batch. It may be many months before more can be gotten.

How much of a difference do you actually feel between old wiseco and new wiseco (both 94mm)?
I’d like to grab a new one but that discounted $125 old one is more in my price range…
Orr should I get a stage 2/3 camshaft instead ?
I’ve got the bike breathing a heck of a lot better and a flat slide carb as far as performance mods go.
