Here is a link to a video that lasts only 7 1/2 minutes. They do an interesting test and with a couple exceptions the results are what you might expect. They take oil samples from the first oil change from several makes of new motorcycles and run them through a lab to obtain counts of particles of various sizes etc. The sample size is small but it is interesting.

Mike at MPH in Houston told me, It's gonna do that for the first5,000 miles. At 5,000 miles it stopped doing that.
