Sorry for the "off topic" post on a Savage forum.  Remove if you see fit.

If anyone I know has MavTV, and watches Stacey David's Gearz show, they have selected my Studebaker truck project for their "What Are You Workin' On?" segment!  It will premier on Wednesday, April 16, at 7 pm est (4 pm Pacific) Season 19, episode 2.  MavTV is a subscription streaming channel. It will also be posted on Stacey David's YouTube channel at the end of June.

How frickin' cool is that??!!

Wow your a celeb now... must feel Smiley

It's hard for me to describe how friking cool that is this video. About as cool as it gets I think. Because in my eyes it's life telling you that you've shown perseverance.

That's in my eyes the biggest compliment you can get and from life itself!!!

Of course I'm very curious about that collectible sticker. And I'd love to see a picture of it before Ruttly gets a hold on it. Smiley
That beadroller is cool too. Cool
Wel deserved I would say. Smiley

So, Rut...  where do I put your cot?

Shop 2.0 has really taken shape.  I am a lot less tense in life now that my happy place has been restored.

I see a lot of floor space there ! I’m good anywhere ! You have been an inspiration for me & Double Ugly (F100). Now it runs , all electrical working ,
New spider gears & axle bearings , working on brakes, only thing I’m reusing is the backing plates (all new , everything).
A few rims were too rusted for over the road use , more rims on the way with new tubes & tires. After it drives then doors get rebuilt, all new glass & interior. Shooting for 95% oem , a Survivor build. It will be my grocery getter , hardware store , dump runs , Sunday drive with the wife , etc. , my daily driver. In May , in French Camp up the road will be a Vintage P/U Truck Show and I think a swap meet , maybe find some oem stuff for the old girl.  Parts are available , well most. My neighbors will hate it , for sure !!!  Grin Grin

Thanks!  I have been spending a lot of time in here.  The mini split was probably the best upgrade.  Having a/c in the shop is wonderful!  I'm making good progress on the front suspension of the truck.

It's a '95 Dodge Dakota chassis.  Going to use a Ford 8.8" lsd rear axle from a '98 Explorer, and the GM Performance "connect and cruise" crate drivetrain.  LS376/525 with a 6L80E six speed auto trans.

Today the first piece of swag from Stacey David's Gearz show arrived. A Woodward-Fab Super bead roller, with six different die sets.  This thing will come in super handy building the new trans tunnel, and repairing some of the bad floor sections on the Studebaker's floor.
