Yea I know a regular dual sport would be better , but I know two guys who took street bikes down some forest roads in dry weather with street tires without an issue. I'm not really thinking of "real-dirt bike" ridding.

A case-guard on a savage would do anything I had in mind , especially if it had dual sport tires.

You have any thought of exploring more of those "Forest Roads" ?

There is a later video where Arnie cleans up the bike and rebuilds the engine after he got home. The one I am buying has a fair amount of rust on the chrome pieces. Not sure how much replacement will have to happen to make me happy with the bike.....I hate rust!
