A future, in a Cashless society, a person will have ‘credit’. And that, ‘credit’ will be controlled by someone else. Perhaps even tied to a, ‘social credit’ index.
Today, paper money, is still used. Paper money can be lost.
Or used at a Indian Casino, where a Indian Casino, in reservation property, pays NO Taxes to the Federal/State, and have no 'reporting' requirements. Therefore the ‘loss’ of paper money, or the loss of metal’s purchased with paper money, (which at first there will be a record of, which will prove that at one time, you, had, that money), is money you now do not have.
Perhaps, in the future, a group of people will be back to using a barter system.
