If a religion does not allow contraceptives such as condoms, birth control etc. and a biological male and biological female that are a couple, most likely married, do not wish to have kids doesn't that mean they can not have sex?

For instance if a married Catholic couple that just turned 30 have had two kids, and do not want additional kids, shouldn't they no longer have sex?

Is the take on vasectomy the same as occluded ovarian tubes? Both of those are contraceptive measures.

I don't understand why people consider these kinds of authorities to be the bearers of truth.

While true spirituality is integration of the divine in to the body,
the church has been the main cause of our alienation from our bodies.

Sexuality is the pure form of energy it is our foundation. We came into this world through sexuality. It's natural.

The church brings us guilt, and we have taken it upon ourselves.

True spiritual people are free from the need for sex.the church tried to reach that naturual state of being, through celibacy. But that is not how that state of being can be obtained.

All that celibacy brings is an obsession with sex. Just look at those holy mouths, if you see that then you know you're dealing with a hypocrite

Well that depends on what Church right?

As for some called to celibacy, it must also mean people who do not want children correct?

As for zevenenergie's post regarding guilt and sexuality I'm not sure how it applies. If a religion doesn't allow for contraceptive measures how can people within that religion have sex if they also do not want kids?

Shouldn't if they abstain from sexual activity if they do not want kids?

Obviously my question was not specific enough:

If a religion doesn't allow for contraceptive measures how can humans that wish to abide strictly by that religious preference and not interact with each other - in any way that would violate that religion's rules - have sexual intercourse specific to the biological male's pen!s entering the biological female's vag!na if they also do not want kids?

In order to abide by their chosen religion's rules they can not take measures to stop a pregnancy, so if they do not want to be pregnant what other options are there?

If someone decides to be a part of a church that believes
Children are a blessing from God
Then if you don't want to be blessed
Don't prime the pump.
If you're a Catholic, using birth control, or, maybe we can look deeper,, howzabout, A Catholic supporting abortion? Maybe championing pro abortion legislation,, not to name naaames,, Pelosi.. At some point, if someone Says they Are something, but everything you can SEE says they aren't,, well, what are they?
I think it's a good question, and it would be better if we were in A campground.
