Front brake replacement

Having difficulty splitting the front brake caliper: the pin nut turns but does not loosen.  What gives please?  Thank you!

It only has threads for a few turns, after that, just pull.

Yikes guys!  I watched a video and unthreaded the pin.  They still had ~1/8" of meat, but I changed 'em anyhow.  All is good now.  Thanks again.

Clean and lube the pins so the caliper can move easily
