Suzuki Quits !....... Suzuki Wins !

Suzuki is leaving Moto GP in 2023. To show what a mistake that is, Alex Rins moved from 10th place to win the Australian GP today, on a Suzuki GSX RR.
5 guys in contention with 2 laps to go and Rins brought it home in a superb example of why Moto GP is the most exciting form of motorsport
Captivating!!!!
Cheers!
ps: Marc Marquez is back, finishes a strong second, after 4 surgeries on his humerus, last one at the Mayo Clinic!

He must be a lot funnier now.
I got into motorcycle GP racing back in the mid to late 80's. We went to Laguna Seca 5 years in a row, watching in person the likes of Roberts, Mamola, Rainey, Spencer, Lawson, Gardner, Doohan, just to name a few. Went to many Superbike races as well - Quarterly, Cooley, Shobert, and most of the guys mentioned above. What a time to be alive! The Unrideables and The Unrideables 2 are a couple of great movies of that 500cc GP era. If you haven't seen them I highly recommend it.

Glad Rins won.
If memory serves, Moto GP involves bikes of 500cc max.
Focusing on the Superbike series will help sell those bigger, higher profit bikes.

I grew up with Mosport my closest track. Roberts showed one year with a lot of Euro guys for the Canadian GP. Kenny and 1 or 2 others refused to race because of a wet track. All the Euro guys raced. The TZ750 was scary yet somewhat manageable.
Here's the weird bit: in spite of the scary, the TZ750 became a belly-button bike, everybody had one, a true club-racer !!!
Cheers!
ps: Bender: 500 limit went by-by decades ago, now 1000cc 4to5 cylinders, 200hp, 220mph! These are the big bikes!
