Nothing but the sounds of silence..

So, what language does he think in?

 Sign language.

Sub-audio feedback isn't required for cognitive activity in the brain.

This is most likely what you are wondering:

"Primarily though, most completely deaf people think in sign language.  Similar to how an “inner voice” of a hearing person is experienced in one’s own voice, a completely deaf person sees or, more aptly, feels themselves signing in their head as they “talk” in their heads."

I have 2 deaf staff.  They both pretty much said if you write something down on paper, then imagine in your head the hand actions used to write it, that's what they do.  Just in a more efficient way.

I've been interested in Efficiency since I was a young guy. I've read some interesting stuff, searching the insides,, Be Here Now by Babba Ram Das when I was 20, Real name Richard Alpert, ran around with Timothy Leary, and I was thinking that without the trudging through thought processes, plodding through steps with your own brain explaining the steps inside your head as if you were explaining it to someone else, if That was Not happening, it's Gonna happen faster.
As to the Pictures, that has been very useful to me. When I have a problem and no store sells the answer, I look at it and See different potential solutions until I See one I think I can build.
