I put a 20w50 oil with zddp additive. the bike runs great. This morning I did about 80 km and no noise. For now I'll use it like this..

I would change that oil in 500-1000 KM and inspect for metal flakes and shavings.

When I went into the head on mine recently I had minor scoring. I have been extremely conscientious to keep it upright and use good oil as well. Best regards,

I live in Italy and in my country there are very few spare parts. I think the only solution is to go to the rectifier and have a bushing made for me to apply after machining the base

Machine shops that can do this kind of repair work are quickly disappearing in the US....young fellows aren't getting into the trade and learning to do machining work.

It used to be an engine was worn out in 100,000 miles or less, and the machine shops had lots of work to repair the worn engine pieces. Now that engines can go 200 - 300 -400,000 miles the need for machine shops is going away. Even car the dealers no longer send engine parts to machine shops for repair - they just install new parts or buy rebuilt parts from Jasper.
