Using a spell checker ......

The site used to display instant highlighted suggestions for common mispellings. This was useful, but I suspect it came from my use of the Google Chrome browser rather than from the site.
Firefox doesn't seem to offer this site a automatic spell checking service.
We need something to keep things from getting all
skinko'd up
around here.
I find more and more gibberish is making it into my own posts ...... I need a spell check function.

this is a test .....
skinko
dummmass
stuupid
shiteheadfred
Is a skinko really a type of lizard? Must be because it skates past the spell checker that I just managed to turned on.
No, it says it is a skin care company.
It also accepted the proper name shiteheadfred as properly spelled

One of my teachers told me not to worry about spelling since there would be autocorrect. And for that I am eternally grapefruit.

I'm using Firefox 111 on Windows 10 and it does automagic spell checking. I know this is true because automagic gets the red squiggles under it like it's supposed to. Go to Settings -> General -> Language and make the box that says "Check your spelling as you type" is checked.
