Cleaned my pod filter !

Made a minor discovery: Murphy's Oil Soap with some warm water in a bucket took all of the crap off my K&N carb filter. Squeaky clean after 5 minutes.
Will soak it in WD40 or such-like before installing!
Cheers!

Zipi , it is important to use a gauze type air filter oil on your k&n. Wd40 no. Motor oil no. NEVER use a brush. K&N filter oil is best after it’s dry after washing. Dish soap works good with a good soaking , rinse water only no compressed air. My oldest k&n is 40 yrs old. They last if you clean and reoil them only when dirty or too dry. No brushes.

Treat your foam filters the same way , but they use a different oil for foam filters. No brushes.
