20 (+/-) years ago I was in Lincoln doing a job and stayed at a friends house. Night before I left, he and his Wife took me out to dinner in the old warehouse district which was 'up-scale' refurbished.

Nice Place, but noticing 80+% of the tables were two Ladies. I mentioned to my Hosts, 'great place for a single fellow'. They BOTH Hartley Laughed.

Then they said; 'Lincoln is a great place to find a Woman, if you are a Woman. If you are a Man, NOT SO MUCH !'

It was because Lincoln was, 'off the radar', and no one bothered them.
