Bracket holes. (Read 70 times)

Anyone ever incorporate them into a footpeg mounting system? They're pretty beefy, and there are other potential attaching points in close proximity.

Reply #7 - 09/01/23 at 09:20:57 I always thought if your bike needs the bracket , it would be a great place to mount a lithium battery in that area. A aluminum heat shield to protect it from exhaust heat. Perfect for a bobber , chopper type build , I guess any build that uses that bracket. Foot pegs ? Just not enough strength in that bracket for foot pegs.

I'm inclined to agree. Was just wondering if anyone had found out. I'm going to stick with the "proven" mounting bracket style used by others on here for my mids.
