It really seems like : If a car tire can last 80,000 miles
Then
A motorcycle tire should last more than 8,000 .

I've had three of the Commander II rear tires and they lasted long times.
But
On wet roads they were like riding on a tire made out of hard plastic.

really not funny ...

More like kinda scarry !

The one I wore out on a Savage lasted 22,000 miles and had tread left ... but ... was down to the wear bars. On dry roads it was as good as anything else.
The Harley 883 -Commander II lasted 18,000 miles and was wore into the wear bars.
The other one was on that Harley 1200 Sportster that striped its crankshaft splines on the primary drive front. I traded it in on a car after fixing it and driving it around for a few month ... I just couldn't forget about the cheap material it was made of so it had to go .
