Need decomp controller & gas tank round rubber (Read 49 times)

I'm looking for a decomp control (part #32910-24b) for a 2008 boulevard s40 at a reasonable price. Could also use one of those round rubber things that help hold the gas tank.

I have some decomp’s for cheap+ shipping.
Or you can just eliminate it from the bike if you wish. I removed my decomp and have had no problems starting my Savage. I have the newer 97mm Wiseco piston (flat top w/ dish) so there is plenty of compression (11:1) to overcome. I’ve had this mod for years as well and almost never need to use the valve lift lever…maybe used it 2 or 3 times in the years since.
My solution ?
I installed a short bolt in the lever and can simply push it with my thumb to lift the exhaust valves when I hit the start button. It takes a half second.
