Trump's written speech of Jan 6 said the word "fight" one time. He said "fight" 20 times during that speech.

"Former President Donald Trump denied riling up the crowd at his Stop the Steal rally that preceded the insurrection at the Capitol on Jan. 6. “I have nothing to hide, I wasn’t involved in that and if you look at my words and what I said in the speech, they were extremely calming, actually.”"

I actually believe in free speech, unlike liberal leftist. No, the Democratic politicians, who riled up protesters who later ended up killing people should not be charged with murder.

The Colorado Supreme Court stayed their ruling. This is not a conviction by their own assessment. Are they wrong? If Trump was "convicted" of a crime, why are organizations like CNN avoiding the term completely? Why are political opponents?

I get it that there is a consensus that Trump did engage in an insurrection and the argument is that the decision(s) does not apply to the position of POTUS because the 14th does not explicitly state the position of POTUS in it.

The CO Supreme Court disagrees and does think that the "Office" of POTUS is included in the 14th. I personally find it interesting that the POTUS could be excluded from the 14th. The only people that think the POTUS can't commit insurrection are people that like the guy in question. Any POTUS they do not like however is a different story.

However, disqualifying Trump from the ballot in itself is not a conviction, at least not until this decision becomes official.
