So,

I flubbed up. I ran internal electrical switches in my new handlebars, and while bolting up today after months of modifications realized I can't possibly get the stock clutch perch past the switches coming out of the bar.

My options are to either cut, pull, resolder the wires ( I really don't want to do this) or buy a new clutch perch/lever that is in two parts, not a solid part that clamps.

Any ideas?

Most factory bikes with 1" handlebars are single bolt clamps like the Savage.

You can do a search and find aftermarket clutch levers that have a two bolt clamp - lots of old Harleys used this type of clutch lever. A lot of them are going to be chrome plated steel - as that is what Harley used for a long time. I don't know what the length of the cable pull is and how that compares to the Savage.

You can also search eBay and find lots of cheap Chinese stuff.

You are likely going to get the best results by using the original clutch lever.....and redoing your switches/wires. Wink
