 The FBI publishes regular updates, and typically your local LE will have some form of public records.

 It's a weak argument though since the question is more along the lines of how should the US government use tax dollars to reduce hostile acts against it's legal citizens.  Should the allocated funds go toward investigating, apprehending, prosecuting, sentencing undocumented non-citizens, or should it go to preventing undocumented non-citizens from killing legal US citizens to begin with?

 
 This is like having some kids from another neighborhood go around breaking windows and when they get caught people want to know how many kids in your neighborhood break windows.  You can deal with both, but wouldn't it better if you didn't also have kids coming into your area adding to the problem?

 Ok so since US tax dollars should address both prevention and also prosecution, what value does asking how many legal US citizens commit crime, when specifically addressing criminal undocumented non-citizens?

 There is a reason why in US courts the defense is not allowed to bring up other unrelated criminal acts in a trial.  Other crimes aren't a valid argument for defense, or an argument for any reason at all really.

 If I killed one of your family members, would asking you how many people in your town committed murder be a valid question?  Would that prove any point really?

Again, your logic is absolutely ridiculous. You’ve twisted yourself into an indefensible position because you’re trying to support your democratic team.
That woman would be alive today. The lady who was run over here in Missouri would be alive today. And I would venture to guess since we we’ve allowed, illegal, immigration to continue, and yes, that includes under Trump, hundreds have been murdered, and countless have been injured either physically or had property stolen.

 If I, a white male murdered someone in your family, what value would it be for my defense to bring up the statistic that black males, percentage-wise, kill more humans?  

 Bringing up murder statistics of other demographics does what exactly?  There really is no advantage to any policy that allows for increased crime, no matter how the percentage stacks against people who actually legally exist in the US.  

 This isn't a question of pro vs anti immigration, I am just saying that your crime percentage argument is poor.  When non-citizens kill US citizens, there is no value in saying "Well US citizens, percentage-wise kill more so let's keep that in mind".

 I mentioned race.  I brought up a known statistic in certain geographical areas of the US, when compiled and averaged represents the nation as a whole.  It's typically due to inner city gang activities, which is unrelated, but if we want to make blanket comparisons, legal US citizens kill domestic partners more often than undocumented non-citizens.  You know, if we look at the percentages.

 
Thirdly,.. as a topic that is not personal here, there are about 39,999 reasons to point out the likelihood of a shooter being a legal citizen rather than illegal

 There could be many more.  In the scenario I am presenting here, I am asking if I murdered your family members, what value would it be if for my defense to bring up that black males murder more humans?

 If a female murdered your family member, what value would it be to bring up statistically males murder more?

 If an alien lands on Earth and kills your family member, what value would it be to bring up that Earthlings murder more?
