Back to the topic though, the point I was making is that intelligent aware people understand that they don't care about anything you have to say if they are trump voters. It's not like they don't know stuff you're telling them, it's not like they are not aware of their hypocrisy.

The point is that they really don't care. I'm not complaining about that, I'm just finally understanding why it is pointless to think that your carefully analysed reasoning means anything to them.

On your other point, yup I tailor my delivery to whomever I'm communicating with and I do not react well to abuse. Using expletives as an intensifier is not abuse in my book, stepping on people's toes going into threads you didn't start and just posting anything you like, kinda reminds me of when Ted Cruz wanted to read Green Eggs and Ham in Congress.

 It's like pulling up a Youtube video about how Australians act and saying 40% of the population there act the same way.

 The problem here is that humans outside the US rely on media of some kind to tell them what Americans are like.  Just like Americans do with all other countries.  My experience has been that plenty of Trump voters are reasonable intelligent humans capable of direct and progressive discussion of politics and policy associated with them.  I wouldn't have that experience by watching Youtube, or anything on TV.

 My outlook on Muslim practicing humans changed once I actually was in  high-percentage Muslim practicing countries.  It took actually being there, not watching it from afar.

 Intelligent normal humans won't make a good Youtube video.  Ever see the "outakes" of a Kimmel street question bit?  Boring.  People answering questions correctly or intelligently never make the show because there is no entertainment value.

 All of this set aside, what are the chances that millions of humans all act the same way on any single topic?  Slim, extremely slim.

Look if I wanted to point out hypocrisy I'd go big, like the failed bs hunter hearings, vs, Jared Kushner, who was working IN the White House as he travelled the world grifting, as soon as he left the white house, he got two billion dollars for his little investment scam from the Saudis, this was rejected by the Saudi money managers for good reason, he was unqualified, but it was overrule by the Crown prince, you know the guy who ordered the killing of Kashoggi that Trump whitewashed.

I could post plenty of vids of selected crazies but again, I say you miss the point, which I did make clearly, so I am a bit disappointed that you did not finagle the nuance, you usually pride yourself on detailed analysis whether I agree or not.

So let me clarify, it's not the hypocrisy they display, they are fully aware of it, they know what they said before they haven't been caught they don't care, for whatever reason. This was in fact an amazing eye opener for me, because these are the type of Trump voters who are articulate and knowledgeable people whom one would at least think could be persuaded with good argument.

 Right.  My post is a generalized statement, not specifically directed at you, although I did use Australia as a reference due to you making the original post.

 My point is a big part of the problem is having a media heavy analysis method, which without travel and time, we all have to use.

 My example would by my perception of Muslim practicing humans outside the United States.  The only intelligence I had prior to being in majority Muslim practicing geographical areas was media.  Youtube, local and national news, and the internet.

 It stepped up a bit with military intelligence when I contracted with a special forces unit.  The information itself was more accurate, but localized to a specific type of Muslim practicing human, typically "radicalized" Muslims and their non-radicalized civilian counteparts.

 Once I actually spent time in majority Muslim practicing geographical areas, I gained a different, more accurate perspective.  One that could not be achieved by utilizing Youtube, local/national news, the internet, or military intel.  Even talking to Muslim practicing humans that were from  majority Muslim practicing geographical areas and moved to the US would not have achieved the more accurate perspective.

 A media heavy (Youtube, internet, news, etc.) assessment method can not acheve the accuracy of actual experience.

 This is definitely not a discussion forum.  I've said for years this is a complaint forum.

 People post about things they don't like, then complain even more when anyone has anything different to say about it.

He is ahead in the polls. More than 50% of American voters will vote for him.
