This stock is a very good example of a volatile holding, where the price has nothing to do with the actual performance or equity of the business itself. Risky but fun to watch.

I understand it. For a stock that is basically garbage on paper, it is amplified by Trump, just like a number of his endeavors that went nowhere over the years.

As long as someone doesn't care what they get out of it, Trump is the perfect candidate for this kind of thing.

I have to agree with Z on this one, I don’t think you understand Trump’s appeal to a broad spectrum of people.

I’ll tell the story again. I was in a large Midwestern manufacturing facility the day after trumps first debate. I’m walking with the engineer who is in charge of the entire facility. This facility employs 3000 people. It’s a union facility. They hate this engineer, he’s their enemy. However, walking through the plant that day, I was shocked at the number of working class men coming up to him and asking excitedly if they’d seen Trump the night before. Two weeks later I was in Wichita Kansas, I’m getting a rental car and I’m walking through the garage when I hear some kid on his phone shout that he scored tickets to trumps appearance next week. It was then I knew Trump was going to win.

I don’t always agree with Z but I appreciate him. He will often post interesting questions and long thought-out commentary.

All you ever do is post stupid little comments on what others write. I’m not sure you could string two complex sentences together and certainly not a paragraph or two of your personal experience related to a topic someone brought up and much less, God forbid, an actual thought provoking topic of your own.

So my assessment that this stock price is sky-high because of Trump, and not because of the actual value of the company holdings means what exactly?

To me it means the stock is high specifically because of Trump appeal and not other reasons.
