I measured 80mm (just over 3”) for the bolts that go with the clamps for the buckhorn style handlebar.

Appreciated thanks guys. It looks like the bar used on the alter models wants Allen cap bolts, instead of hex heads. My plan is to use the bar as the lower clamp, assuming it's possible.

Depending on the bars you choose, you may want some short risers to clear the tank.
with drags, you might want 2" risers.
