Here’s a cheap mod if you want to improve the sound of the Savage stock muffler.  It eliminates the high pitched whistle pppfffffssssss.

Thanks for the TiP Paul !   Wink

I'm kind of glad it's recommended for Suzuki's and Harleys and not Enfields !  Smiley  

But , at one point while experimenting with MUFFLER GUTS , I found that a little 2" long metal pipe welded into a washer that fits the Muffler I.D. had a big influence on exaust note .
