Nice clean break. It’s where the push rod contacts it at the stop area of the cam. Looking for the chunk that broke off now. Push rod too long? I’m just starting to dive in so I don’t have any other details at this stage.

Getting close to needing something…. Versy CCT, rear tensioner, chain…. Who knows…. Drop $400 and replace everything! More inspection needed.

It was installed backwards and the push rod just started making its own divot. Here’s a pic next to an old cam I had lying around.

Oh dang! Definitely broke! My situation explains why I couldn’t find a chunk somewhere. Just some tiny metal filings.

Hard to get a good photo with lighting and glare, but the shaft looks pretty decent.

Mike, it still measures 45.5mm. It’s still rounded on the end. You can kinda see where it was beating the hell out of the cam. It’s not a mega hard Sneeze clutch cam, but the fact the pushrod could start making its own divot had me saying “whoa”.
