Dyna pipe with added plug

So I have a quick question I've got a harley dyna that was missing plug between both sets of holes so i took advice on here and knocked a freeze plug between both sets of baffle holes and took a heat gun to hopefully expand the plug in pipe but I'm worried about putting it on the bike as I'm thinking under enough pressure it will fly out of there. What is holding it on there? I used a steel freeze plug.

Put in on and try it......it has worked well for others.
If it comes out you will know immediately! (Unless you wear really good earplugs).

LOL. True! And that freeze plug will shoot out like a shotgun slug!

Alright thanks for the pep talk guys lol so basically if it don't shoot out right away I'm good or has there been experiences of it holding for awhile then coming loose?

It's a cup shape. You had to smakkitt to drive it in. If you Didn't hafta pop it pretty good it just might not stick around. You can test before you ride off. Just wind it up good and flip the Kill ,let it have enough time to load the jug up good, flip it back and see if the Mighty belch of horsepower dislodges it.
The shape, coupled with the pressure on the square edge of the frayze plug created by the slightly smaller hole is not conducive to extrication by anyone,

If you put the freeze plug in from the header side, it won't go anywhere if it does come loose. it will just rattle around inside the muffler.
Unless, of course, the tube with the holes punched in it disintegrates. That's what normally happens to my mufflers.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

I really appreciate your simple jargon, “the tube with the holes punched in it”. You know, that metal “gizmo”!
