And MORE about the Communist Walz !
Social visits are not allowed which is punishable by fine up to $1,000 or imprisonment up to 90 days.
Orders all public schools to close to students between March 18 and March 27 Yet the order calls for schools to continue providing lunches ?????
Governor extends the time that gathering places, like restaurants and theaters, must stay closed. Other companies previously closed, including salons and barber shops, must stay closed.
Walz adds elective veterinary procedures to the list of medical procedures he halted in his ninth executive order. (WHAT ???????)
Governor ordered spas to close along with restaurants, but the state got questions about what that means for a range of other businesses. This order lists a range of other types of gathering spots that must close. The list includes: tattoo parlors, nail salons, massage businesses, barber shops, theaters, fitness centers, amusements parks and other gathering centers. And more. (Golly Gee Wally, Nothing about Strip Joints ?????)
• Walz orders the creation of a paid leave program for executive branch employees who can't work because they're caring for children or for other reasons related to the outbreak.
(And a absolute Kiss AZZ move) “ union ally of Walz fared much better. The AFL-CIO urged Walz to issue an executive order that barred employment sanctions against any worker who reported unsafe conditions or lack of safety gear and who refused to work due to COVID-19 hazards on the job. The labor organization supplied Walz, relevant agencies and the attorney general’s office with a draft order. A couple of weeks after the request, an order was official and the AFL-CIO quickly distributed a press release: “Minnesota AFL-CIO Applauds Governor Walz’s Executive Order Protecting Workers from Retaliation.”
(And of course, he ‘rewarded’ while the ‘regular’ people suffered)
I authorize and direct the Commissioner of Management and Budget to develop and implement a policy to provide paid leave to executive branch employees who must be absent from work for reasons related to COVID-19, "Executive branch employees" also includes all employees of the Minnesota State Retirement System, the Public Employees Retirement Association, the Teacher's Retirement Association, and the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. Paid COVID-19 leave pursuant to this policy must be available effective beginning March 18, 2020 and continue until the peacetime emergency is terminated.
WALZ authorized; I authorize and direct the Commissioner of Management and Budget to suspend the 35-day waiting period necessary for new insurance-eligible executive branch employees to receive the insurance coverage provided in the applicable collective bargaining agreement or compensation plan.
