From my surveys most people think the majority is against taxing tips. People surveyed think about 85% of the population is anti-taxing tips, but 88% actually say they are for taxing tips. A typical perception versus reality event. What's your stance on taxing tips? Yes or no?

I'm not much of a Give your money to the government kinda guy. The typical person who gets tips isn't paid much to start with. Let them keep every penny. I don't agree with corporate taxes on domestic earnings, either. The same people who squawl about tariffs costing American consumers don't seem to understand that we pay the taxes for the corporations, the same way renters pay the property tax for the landlord.

Experts have said this is almost a non-issue because most people that work for tips make a small enough income that they don't pay taxes anyway
Those that make more, don't report it

Prior to this,.. Trump was for having workers turn over tips to their employers
