 We can find police reports about ducks/geese but zero about pets - before - any Vance comments on the issue.  We also can't find any social media posts - before - any Vance comments about pets missing and suspected eaten besides one human that doesn't live in Springfield.  Have you seen any police reports, or statements from police indicating reports of missing pets for months?  Springfield is small, calculating a increase in reports will be very easy.
