Forward Controls question

6ft. Desperately need forwards for comfort.
mine is a 2012. I can't seem to find a kit for this year.
I did find this kit for a 1988-2000. https://motopartshop.com/products/5-motorcycle-forward-controls-for-suzuki-bo...

Would this kit fit a 2012? If not, why not? Could it be modified to fit?

It should work. The frame never changed.

I ended up going with a set of Jody 4 inch controls. I was originally going to get 6 but he was out so I measured it out. 4 inch works better for me anyway. 6ft tall about a 31ish inseam. My only recommendation, grind down the linkage he includes that goes into the original brake fork. I tried to bend the brake fork and it snapped right away. Thankfully it all still works though. and the foot position is perfect for me.

Either way, for 185 they are significantly cheaper than what I have posted earlier.

third pic for reference to how my leg fits. highly recommend jody's kit. feels like a different bike. much more comfortable now especially when combined with the seat mod.
