It would be nice to hear an answer why other countries can put tariffs on our products to protect their market but you’re saying we can’t put tariffs to protect our markets. Why is that?

I’ve already told you my company had to pay stiff tariffs to export product to Brazil because Brazil wanted to protect their manufacturing base. In response we eventually built a manufacturing plant in Brazil.

China’s tariff on general manufactured goods from the US range from 5 to 25%. Why is that okay? Wherever you’re sitting, look around and think about how many of those products came from China.

You can’t say anything with regards to Trump and money. You’ve forever forfeited your right to question a president using his office to enrich himself for his family. And of course, any president can retroactively issue pardons to any co-conspirator to financial crimes, and he can go back as far as he wants.
